Together with our IT team at EMBL's Headquarters in Heidelberg and working closely with the IT team at EMBL-EBI in Hinxton, UK and the EMBL Data Privacy Office (DPO), you will be responsible to coordinate the EMBL information security strategy; including risk management, architecture, policies, governance and continuous improvement. You will define, build, operate and innovate the EMBL IT security solutions and architecture. You will support IT teams and service owners in operational hardening of systems, services and networks. You will deliver training, advice and easy to follow user guidelines on maintaining IT security to EMBL users and IT service owners. You will handle compliance with internal and external information security regulations including documentation, testing and auditing.
