(Senior) Partner Account Manager* DACH
The Partner Account Manager* has principal responsibility for delivering against the incremental revenue goals for the Sell Partners and for Sell Partner relationships. This role is the strategic interface between Software AG and their Sell Partners in the DACH region. Responsibilities include teaming with key Sell Partners and building out a business plan for the defined territory which will include target verticals and solutions, targeted incremental revenue, enablement, joint lead generation and leading joint technology and services initiatives as well as an action plan. The Partner Account Manager* works closely with the global Partner teams and the regional sales organization to deliver their objectives. Lead the development of a Sell Partner business plan to generate demand, project opportunities and incremental revenue Ensure successful execution of the partner business plan by developing and managing relationships across functional areas within Software AG Develop and win incremental Partner revenue by selling and advocating Software AG solutions «to», «through» and «with» Partners Introduce and drive new opportunities for incremental revenue with Software AG sales Recruit new Sell Partners for Software AG in DACH with focus on incremental sales Plan and manage go-to-market initiatives with the assigned partners, as well as market and partner enablement activities together with other Software AG departments as required Integrate partner marketing activities in regional marketing campaigns in close collaboration with our global and regional marketing team Create an environment for Software AG success by ensuring that Software AG is considered a critical strategic partner Evangelize Software AG products and solutions Provide regular and accurate quarterly forecast to the management team
Proven track record of generating incremental revenue Existing, reliable network to Sell Partners and Sell Partner ecosystems, preferably in business transformation and integration space A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Partner Executive or Partner Manager, building, managing and leveraging key Partner relationships, closing high value contract negotiations in complex environments, ideally in the digital transformation and integration space A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Sales Manager* with proven track record on achieving individual sales quota Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and act on go-to-market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions and business cases around strategic partnerships Great team player with winner's mentality and strong drive for results Experience and comfort level working with C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies and building relationships throughout organizations Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities Openness to travel (25%) in DACH and partly globally Strong communication skills in German and English (written and spoken) EDUCATION: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience and familiarity with enterprise Digital Transformation Technology
