Research Engineer for Telemetry Algorithms (m/f/d)
Ihre Aufgaben:
Design, implement and evaluate algorithms for medical image analysis and computer-assisted surgery, incorporating recent advancements in the field
Elaborate on innovative techniques for advanced anatomy visualization
Analyze and interpret multi-modal medical imaging data and surgical workflows
Contribute to the development of in-house research software prototypes
Stay updated to the state-of-the-art knowledge in related topics; generate and maintain technical documentation and scientific reports
Das bringen Sie mit:
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Computational Geometry, Biomedical Engineering, or Deep Learning
Solid programming skills in C++ and Python are required; familiarization with DICOM, 3D Slicer, MONAI, VTK, ITK, CGAL, OpenCV, OpenGL, and Deep Learning frameworks and tools is desired
Previous experience in computational anatomy and synthetic medical data is highly valued
Eager learner with strong science communication skills, robust analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset
Fluency in spoken and written English; German is a plus
