IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
Build and manage our SD-WAN based Wide Area Network
Creating standards and designs and ensure they are implemented
Ensuring the components are always updated with latest security patches
Work closely with our local IT and our global partners to manage WAN circuits like MPLS and DIA
Cooperating with our Lifecycle and Asset Management Manager and provide a budget plan to keep our infrastructure up to date
Managing existing and new incidents and problems in the area of WAN
Lead and drive projects related to our Wide Area Network (improvements and changes)
Qualifikationen:
University degree in computer science or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist and initial work experience
Existing VMWare SD-WAN training and or certificate is advantageous as well as CCNA or CCNP Level or equivalent
Several years of professional experience with International Wide Area Network (WAN)
Extensive knowledge of Routing Protocols as well as WAN Protocols and technologies
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels within the organization
Be available off-hours on an as needed basis
Willingness to travel as needed (2-3 times / year)
Good English skills, both written and spoken
